Been trying to mask the legs to move to the foreground and have the vfx behind them, but it’s not working. I used the power windows to do the mask.
Did this need to be done in green screen or what am I missing to achieve this? Thanks

Have you tried out the magic mask yet? It seems like it would be a good fit for what you are wanting to accomplish in Davinici Resolve. Here is a video demonstrating a few roto shots like the example you sent.

We also covered a really cool AI driven tool that makes roto work easier that I would also recommend trying out if you haven’t already.

Nah, it’s not working. I guess it has to do with layers? I’ll have to go another route as I look into it. or ask VFX expert how to properly do it.
