Hello. Is it possible to merge assets like this: Energy Balls Stock Footage Collection | ActionVFX: into 3d space in c4d?
Hey @richb.hibner! It sure is. The assets will still be 2D in C4D but you can bring them in on 3D cards/planes and then move them around freely. It’s been a little while since I have done this in C4D but this tutorial should show you what you will need to do. In the video they put the texture on a Background object but you will want to do it using a Plane object. It’s also easier if you render the Energy FX out in a square format (needs to be an image sequence like PNG and not an MOV or MP4) first.
